> Story of Robinson Crusoe
My name is Robinson Crusoe. I was born in York, in England. When I was a little boy, I spent much of my time
looking at the river, the ships and the boats. I want to be a sailor. I wanted to see the world. My mother was very sad when
I told her. She said: There are many storms and the ships are often wrecked. When I was eighteen years old, I left my home
and went out to sea.
I traveled to Europe, Africa and South
America for eight years. I was in Brazil when I decided to
sail to Africa. The ship was soon ready. Her load was not very heavy, but there were many
treasures. The wind was fair. The sails were set. We were soon out to sea. The weather was fine. Everybody was happy. But
a storm came from the southeast. We could do nothing. After twelve days of huge waves and strong winds, one morning, a sailor
cried: Land! Land! I see land! We jumped onto our little boat and rowed to the shore, but a huge wave overset our boat and
we fell into the sea…
The last thing I remember was lying down on the beach.

Morning
Verse for Semester 2
The sun
is in my heart. He warms me with his power, And wakens life and love In bird and beast and flower. With joy I greet
the morning sun Who shines with love on every one Who shines in the sky, on the land and sea, And who fills me
with light When he shines on me. Good morning (afternoon) to you and Good morning (afternoon) to me.

In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?

Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand dare seize the fire?
