Song
In the spring time garden, rosy morning glow
Sunshine calling, falling, calling. Seedlings wake and grow.
Poem
Lilies are white. Rosemary’s green. When you are king, I will be queen.
Roses are red. Lavender’s blue. If you have me, I will have you.
Story: The Fox and the Crow - Aesop's fable
Once upon a time a Fox sees a Crow with a piece of cheese in her beak.
The Fox sits down beneath the tree and calls,
"Good day, Mistress Crow! How well you are looking!
How bright your eyes! How glossy your feathers!"
The Crow is pleased. She loves to be flattered.
"I am sure your voice is even more beautiful than your feathers,"
The Fox says. "Won't you sing a song for me, O Queen of Birds?"
The Crow is so pleased she can hardly sit still.
She lifts her head high, closes her eyes.
She opens her beak to sing: CAW-C-CAW-W-W
The cheese falls to the ground, in front of the Fox.
"Thank you Mistress Crow," he said to the unhappy bird.

Story
Once upon a time, there is a shepherd boy watching his sheep in the mountains.
He is bored. To amuse himself, he shouts: -Wolf! Help me!
The villagers came running up the hill but find no wolf.
The boy says: -Me!? No! Not me. And he is laughing at the villagers.
The villagers say: -Little boy, do not say ‘Wolf’ if there is no ‘Wolf’.
Later, he is bored again.
Later, the boy sees a real wolf. He shouts: -Wolf! Help me!
But no one comes. The boy comes back home. He sees an old man.
-Why didn’t you come? –Sorry, next time, we will go and help you, but remember:

Poem:
We are five very little creatures, All of different voices and features.
One of us in glass is set. One of us you will find in jet. The other you may see in tin.
The fourth a box within. It can never fly from you. (a, e, I, o, u)
Poem by Eileen Hutchins
The sun says “I glow,” The wind says “I blow,” The stream says “I flow,”
The plant says “I grow,” And man says “I know.”

LEFT AND RIGHT
Left and Right were going to fight,
They crossed their swords in the middle of the night.
Left and Right were equally strong.
Left and Right were equally wrong!
Left and Right grew tired of the fight,
So they all shook hands and said Good-night.

THE RAINBOW
Red, and orange, and yellow, and green:
The rainbow’s seven colors have a bright shiny sheen.
Light blue, indigo, and violet all told.
At the end of the rainbow is a pot of gold.

As high as a house
(reach high)
As small as a mouse
(crouch)
As wide as a barn
(feet apart, arms sideways)
As thin as a pin
(stand erect).

Poem
Hands to work and feet to run, God's good gifts for me and you:
Hands and feet he gave to us To help each other the whole day through.
Eyes to see and ears to hear, God's good gifts for me and you:
Eyes and ears he gave to us To help each other the whole day through.
Minds to think and hearts to love, God's good gifts for me and you:
Minds and hearts he gave to us To help each other the whole day through.
Story
Once upon a time, 25 children went fishing. Some went into the water. Some stayed on dry land. When they want to go home,
one said:
Let me see, let me count if everybody is here. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5… 24! Oh no, one is missing!
Let me see, let me count, said another one. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5… 24! Oh no, one is missing!
A postman came passing by. Can I help you? Yes, of course. One of us is missing.
If you all give me something, then I can help you.
The first one gave him an eraser, the second one…
See, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, … 22! Here you are. Thank you, Mr. Postman. Thank you so much.
@ Poem
Little brown seed, round and round,
Here I put you in the ground.
You can sleep a week or two,
Then - I'll tell you what to do:
You must grow some downward roots,
Then some tiny upward shoots.
From these green shoots' folded sheaves
Soon must come some healthy leaves.
When the leaves have time to grow,
Next a bunch of buds must show.
Last of all, the birds must spread
Instead blossoms white or red.
There, seed! I've done my best.
Please to grow and do the rest.
Chant:
One, two, three, four, Posting letters
Through our door Who's got a letter?
Who are they for?
One's for Ali One's for Sue
One's for me And one's for you!
Poem
In soft morning light, the stars fade away.
The birds soon awake. This is a new day.
Journey dreams of night, they end with the day.
Angels guide us home, for work and for play.
Awake. Awake. Shine like the sun. Give light and love to everyone.
